I have worked in the Equity field for several years, providing Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Decolonization (EDID) training for the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies and other social service sectors, including academia and non-profit organizations.​ I strive to embed an EDID lens within my life as I continue to unlearn, relearn, heal and evolve.

I combine empathy and a passionate lens for humanity as I journey in understanding how various oppressed identities and equity deserving groups experience discrimination on an omnipresent basis, at all levels (macro to micro) and bring that lens to my everyday life as I seek to inspire others to do the necessary work. 

Business Meeting

As a white male, I embed my lived experiences and my privileged identities to inspire others to deeply understand their individual roles in understanding, interrogating, dismantling, and re-imaging racist and oppressive systems and beliefs.  I also strive to be an ally while inspiring and motivating other dominant identities to do the same.  

I am authentic and skilled in communicating with individuals and small or large groups, with strong interpersonal and a passionate speaking style. I help normalize the fragility and discomfort that can often happen with dominant identities to lean into the vulnerability of unlearning, relearning, healing and evolving. All combined, I will bring a dynamic, safe, and transformational consultant/facilitator style that will help inspire authentic growth and change within your organization.
